Ingredients:
2 tbsp rolled oats
5 tbsp Grechka buckwheat
Dried cranberries and nuts
Pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp Topinambur syrup / agave syrup
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Preparing the Syrup Mixture:
In a small bowl, pour in the Jerusalem artichoke syrup (or agave syrup) and add a pinch of salt. Give it a good stir until the salt is dissolved, and the syrup is evenly mixed.
Mixing the Dry Ingredients:
To this syrup mixture, add the buckwheat groats, rolled oats, and pumpkin seeds. Stir well, ensuring that all the dry ingredients are coated with the sweet syrup.
Baking the Granola:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the granola mixture evenly on it. Preheat your oven to 160C. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the granola for about 20 minutes. Remember to give it a gentle stir once during baking to ensure even toasting.
Adding Cranberries and Nuts
Once the granola is golden brown and fragrant, it's time to take it out of the oven. If you'd like to enhance the flavor and add more texture to your granola, you can toss in a handful of dried cranberries and your favorite nuts. Mix them gently with the freshly baked granola.
You've just made a delicious batch of Nutty Grechka Buckwheat Granola with Cranberries and Nuts. Feel free to serve it with your favorite yogurt, milk, or even as a crunchy topping for smoothie bowls.
Remember that this recipe is highly customizable, and you can experiment with various additions like chia seeds, shredded coconut, or even dark chocolate chips.
